Social issues in Chile
Hi, today i´m going to write about what is happening in Chile. In October of last year, there was a social explosion in Chile product of the price increase in the subway, however, the malaise of the people was for many more things that had been dragging on for years. As a result of all this movement and social demands, a plebiscite will be held on October 25, 2020 to change the current constitution that has been in place since 1980. In addition to voting on whether to approve or reject a new constitution, we will also vote (if approved) on whether to write it into a constitutional or mixed convention.
I think that this may be the beginning of the changes that our country needs, in addition to resolving issues such as the pensions of retirees, the AFPs, education, health, among other things that function badly and in a very deficient manner.
Thus from October 18, 2019 to date Chile has been in a constant social movement to demand dignity and what we deserve as citizens.
I really like your post and the invitation that you make to vote next sunday. I think that too, sadly, the only way to make a change in our country, is by the only mechanism that we have in this democracy, and even when many people think that go to vote is to waste your time, are they the one that deprive them selves on theirs right, maybe one vote doen't look important, but in adition, it can change our future.

ResponderEliminarI don't agree so much, although the plebiscite is perhaps a great opportunity, it is not the only way. I think that self-determination, territorial organization and constant attention are also tools and issues that we should start using more as humans.
